Chemical Peels
A chemical peel is a skin-resurfacing treatment designed to improve the tone, texture, and clarity of your skin. At Derma Capital, we offer customized peels that safely exfoliate the top layers of skin, revealing a smoother, brighter, and more youthful complexion beneath. This treatment is ideal for the face, neck, or hands and can target concerns like fine lines, sun damage, pigmentation, acne, and uneven texture.
We offer three types of peels:
1. Superficial Peel (Lunchtime Peel):
This gentle peel uses alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs) to lightly exfoliate the outermost layer of skin. Perfect for mild discoloration, rough texture, or a quick facial refresh—with no downtime.
2. Medium Peel:
Using glycolic or trichloroacetic acid, this peel reaches the middle layers of skin to target age spots, fine lines, freckles, and moderate pigmentation. It’s also effective for rough skin and certain precancerous conditions like actinic keratosis.
3. Deep Peel:
For more dramatic results, this treatment uses trichloroacetic acid or phenol to deeply penetrate and remove damaged skin cells. It improves moderate wrinkles, deeper age spots, and shallow scars. This peel is only performed once and requires more downtime, but delivers significant skin rejuvenation.
Note: After any chemical peel, skin becomes more sensitive to the sun—sun protection is essential for maintaining results.
